SMW Patrons' Gallery

Starting in 2008, the Shawnee Mission West Patrons' Gallery has exhibited wonderful shows presented by retired (2020) Curator/Director Greg Schieszer. Thank you for starting a wonderful tradition for West Patrons'.

SMW Patrons' Gallery has featured a wide variety of artist's & organizations since it's inception, including but not limited to: "Print Society, Nelson Atkins Museum", "KU Printmakers - Faculty & Students", KCAI Students, Curated by Andrew Ordonez", " Sally Jones - photography & Greg Brantman - ceramics, Lynda Shapiro - Mixed Media, Bryan Grove - Textiles, Robin Richerson - Sculpture, Rusty Leffel - Photography, Doug & Ruthie Osa - Etching, Painting & Graphic Design, Maggie DeMeulmeester & Leah Nelson - Ceramic & Mixed Media, Luan Taylor - Watercolor Paintings.

As of 2021, Melinda Heaton has been the  Director of West Patrons' Gallery & along with student assistants, brings a nice variety of NEW & Recurring shows to West.
